I know there are a lot of eyepieces out there, butI am so overwhelmed by the choices. I also have an XT8 and without spending all kinds of money is there a particualr eyepiece that I can buy for viewing planets that doesnt cost and arm and a leg.

thank you for the review. it made it easy to decide which scope to get for my son and his family in florida.this will be a christmas present from granpa. i want the kids to have a good experience and with there father supervision this scope will keep them interested for a long time. iv been looking at a lot of scopes and orion has a good reputation. with your review and the price of the xt8 it made the choice a no brainer. im next on the buying list. thank you

Hey, this was VERY VERY useful for me. The only doubt I have is this: I want to take pictures with my new telescope, and I just read here that I can’t do that with this. Can you recommend me a telescope as powerful as this one and able to take pictures with??
